We do not carry everything. Each season we shortlist a few hundred releases, wear the ones we are unsure about, and keep roughly one in ten. What survives that is the catalogue — five houses, a couple of dozen silhouettes, no filler.

Every pair is inspected in-house before it is listed. Stitch density, midsole bonding, tongue tags, box label against the shoe, UV response on the glue lines. If a detail does not agree with the reference pair on our shelf, it does not ship, and we say so publicly rather than quietly relisting it.

SOLE SOCIETY is an independent shop. We buy at retail and on the secondary market like everyone else, which means we answer to the people wearing the shoes rather than to an allocation target.
