The New Balance story
The v13 update packed more Fresh Foam X into the midsole than the previous version while still shedding over an ounce off the men's weight, landing at a 38mm heel and 32mm forefoot stack with a drop cut from 8mm to 6mm. It is New Balance's max-cushion daily trainer, built for the easy and recovery miles that make up most of a training block rather than for pace work.
